Must have skills:
- Java J2SE development in a multi-threaded non-J2EE environment
- Strong OOA/OOD (5 years current experience)
- Experience with high performance, high throughput systems
- Messaging technologies (JMS, MQ, RV, EMS)
- Requirements capture and technical analysis
- Test driven development experience
- XML/XSLT experience
Nice to have skills:
- Experience with Service Oriented Architecture
- Experience with relational databases is desired
- Experience with Subversion, Maven and Bamboo
- Experience with Requirements capture and technical analysis
- Experience with GUI technologies (eg SWT, Swing)
- Java Servlets/JSPs
As an experienced J2SE Java Developer, you will have a minimum of 5 years development experience in a JAVA SE multi-threaded non-J2EE environment with the interest and capability to understand the business and products we support. This is a hands-on role that includes liaising with business stakeholders and analysts to gather and understand new requirements, designing and implementing new solutions as well as extending existing implementations.
