Role:Responsibility:
Develop, communicate, maintain, and enforce the overall architecture of the information system built within the project (application, data, and technical infrastructure).
Ensure integrity of design, communications and interfaces between application subsystems and supporting databases.
Ensure that performance and capacity requirements are addressed and key technology decisions are taken in a professional manner.
Assure the project deliverables are aligned with the relevant IT Strategy and Architecture definitions.
Negotiate and support the development of interfaces to other applications or systems and ensure that the interface specifications are published and controlled.
Authority:
Coordinate the specification and development work. Review/approve technical concepts and deliverables.
Decide or recommend on key technology issues within the project scope.
Consult in the acceptance process.
Accountability:
Ensure Coordination within the project and with regard to any interfaces or dependencies to other systems and projects.
Skills:
Profile:
Knows all elements of the system/solution and how they fit together and interface with related systems.
Has a general understanding of the business forces operating on the enterprise/business areas affected by the project, as well as its products, services, finances, and strategies.
Has a thorough understanding of the IT Solution Delivery processes to be applied in order to create the project deliverables.
