My client is actively seeking an experienced Bi-lingual (English and German) Technology Delivery Manager to take responsibility for the Project Management of all technical and operational deliveries for a new Video On Demand (VOD) project. The successful candidate will be predominantly based in Zurich, Switzerland with regular business trip to London beginning an initial three month contract ASAP with the high expectation of multiple extensions.
Suitable candidates will be able to effectively demonstrate previous experience of delivering the full life cycle of VOD or TV Services projects (infrastructure and software aspects) including technical and operational deliveries such as planning, budget management, governance as well as reporting to and management of Business Stakeholders. Responsibilities will also include the day-today management of technical vendors and 3rd parties involved in deliveries.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience;
- Solid Project management experience of VOD or TV Services projects
- Bi-lingual in both English and German (or Swiss-German) at a business level
- Experience in delivering multi-language, multi-currency and multi-culture projects
- Previous experience of managing technology teams
- Previous or current experience of Agile methodologies
- Previous experience of managing remote teams.
