Unix/Linux Technical Support- Our client, a major Financial Services company, is currently looking for an experienced Unix Systems 2nd Level Support.Main Tasks and Responsibilities
- Technical 2nd level support of Solaris- and LINUX based server systems
- Test-, integration- and production infrastructure for SUN Solaris and Linux based applications
- UNIX systems support and administration
- Planning and executing the release of operating-systems, along with their middleware and applications
- Installation, configuration and error-analysis using storage-management-tools
Required skills and experience
- 3-5 years experience in large scale SUN Solaris UNIX and RHEL Linux environments
- In depth knowledge of network-configurations
- Working with Veritas-Filesystems (VxFS, VxVM and VxWork) aswell as Veritas Cluster
- Very Good UNIX scripting and command skills
- English is a must, German highly desirable
