Test Manager for TLS in the Quality Mgmt & Testing team
For My large client based in Zürich, Switzerland
We are looking for a Test Manager for TLS in the Quality Mgmt & Testing team
Position: Contract
Start: 1 May 2012
Duration: 6 months
Location: Zürich Switzerland
Language: Fluent English//German Desirable
Description of Project:
- Test Management for multiple TLS projects
- Preparation of test plan, test estimations, test schedule and other CMMI level 3 documentation for TLS projects
- Test Case Design and Execution
- Querying test data using DB and Unix Scripts (involve writing these scripts too)
- Reporting to Project Management for testing status
- Coordinating defects logged from various international location Business Users & Project team
- Defect Management
- Building trusted partnership with Project Management for Test Service delivery
Technical Skills:
Required
Must skills:
- University degree level or adequate professional experience in IT and Banking
- 6 or more years of experience in testing in application development projects
- fluent written and spoken English
- strong experience in banking or finance industry mainly derivative products with FX or commodities underlying good risk calculation methodology background -
- VAR calculation/Monte Carlo simulation
- strong database querying skills (SQL), good UNIX background
- strong communications and customer orientation skills
- Ability to work at a fast pace in a team and adapt style to ensure the project is successful
- strong analytical problem solving skills, soft skills to handle stakeholders globally with different background (Business Project Managers, User Representatives, Programmers, Offshore resources,
Requirements Engineers etc.)
Advantageous skills:
- experience in international projects
- solid Foreign Exchange (FX) banking products
- Background degree level qualification in computer Science
- experience in application development projects run according to CMMI standards
- excellent database skill or experience in data warehousing
- experience in programming
- UML knowledge/experience
- motivation to contribute to process improvements in an interesting environment
- Education: Bachelor Degree
