My Client are a big Media client with a very reputable name, They require a German speaking Technical delivery Manager to help spear head certain new projects. The right candidate will work closely with the Programme director.
Key requirements:
- Project Management of all technical and operational deliveries - including planning and budget management
- Day-to-day management of technical vendors and 3rd parties involved in deliveries
- Introduces governance across all technical delivery teams
- Works with the Technology & Operations director to manage Business Stakeholders expectations
- Owns all reporting associated with technical deliveries
- Must have delivered VOD/IPTV projects before - both Infrastructure and Software aspects
- Must speak English and German (or Swiss-German) at a business level
Required Skills & Experience:
- Experience in delivering European projects (multi-language, multi-currency, multi-culture etc)
- No direct staff responsibilities, but experience of managing technology teams essential
- Experience of Agile and Waterfall technologies
- Experience of working with remote/distributed teams
Location and travel requirements:
- UK based with 4-8 days a month in Zurich or other way around
- Possible 4-5 day trip to India every quarter
