Senior Business Analyst, Business Objects, Banking, Long term contract, BaselFor our esteemed banking client with a global reach, SWISSLINX are looking for an experienced and dedicated Senior Business Analyst with a strong technical understanding for a challenging long term contract in the heart of Basel.
As a Senior Business Analyst you will work in a team of highly committed professionals managing a portfolio of products and projects in the areas of document management, business process management (BPM) and Business Intelligence (BI).
Your role will be to analyse and generate business value from these BPM and BI tools. You will be responsible for the identification, analysis and translation of requirements from business users. Furthermore you will liaise with the IT, business and other stakeholders to create solutions, as well as write documentation, assist and record test procedures.
In order to be considered for this role, you will possess the following skills and experience:
- Profound experience as a Senior Business Analyst
- Ideally a background as a developer or report analyst
- Strong track record in business process and Datamodelling
- Good understanding of SAP Business Objects (BO)
- Good understanding of a business process management tool
- Proven ability working with third party vendors
- University degree (if possible in quantitative finance)
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
In addition, the following would be beneficial:
- Good understanding of service oriented architecture and web services development
- Change management experience
- Proven ability managing large deployment/migration projects
