Solution Architect (Novell, MS Windows)
For our client we are looking for a Solution Architect (Novell, MS Windows) for 3 months in Geneva, Switzerland.
Customer project: Novell to Windows migration (files and printers)
Profile description: Solution Architect Novell, Microsoft Windows.
Tasks:
- Analysis
- Migration Detailed design:
- migration approach,
- script,
- GPO,
- account and permission definition, etc
-Physical design (server sizing)
-Implementation:
- Setup and configuration of Migration Infrastructure
-Customer training
Deliverables:
-Documentation of Analysis Workshop results
-Design Web Bases Access (UAG)
-Tests scripts definition
-File Services Design Document
-System documentation
-Operational handbook
Skills:
-Strong interaction with customer
-Capability to lead workshop and track outcomes
Tools and technologies:
-Novell
-Microsoft server Windows 2008 R2.
-Quest NDS Migrator
-Having already performed Novell to Microsoft migration is mandatory
Experience/Level: More than 5 years of experience
Location: Geneva (documentation writing can be done remotely)
Language: English written/spoken is mandatory. French is a nice to have.
