Our client in the Finance Industry, seeks a C# Web/"Business Objects" Developer and analyst for an extremely long term position in Zurich.
Technologies used in the system:
.Database/ETL: Oracle 11g
.Reporting: Business Objects; Panorama NovaView
.OLAP (MS BI Stack 2008: SS AS, MS SQL Server)
.Microsoft IIS, MS .Net, C#, MS Visual Studio
Job Description:
The role is for an applications developer with a good knowledge of web technology: MS .Net, C#, ASP, ASP.NET, VBScript, JavaScript, Microsoft IIS, Microsoft IE
Team and role activities include:
.Development and maintenance of a Web-based interface
.Development and maintenance of a Business Objects universe
.Administration and design of dashboard-based reporting solutions using Panorama BI tool
.Provide level 3 specialist support for the above technology
.Face the users to gather the requirements, advise and provide the support for their reporting
.Performing impact analysis, testing, User Acceptance Testing and documentation
Requirements:
To be effective in this role the candidate must have the following skills and qualifications:
.Degree in Information Technology (IT) or Software Engineering
.Minimum 3 years work experience as a Web developer
.Extensive reporting experience (Business Objects and/or any BI reporting tool)
.Experience with MS Office: Access, Excel, VBA
.Experience in banking/financial industry (desirable)
.Fluent English is a must, German - beneficial
