For our client we are currently looking for a Senior APO Consultant in Zug, Switzerland.
Start date: ASAP (no later than 30.04.2012)
Duration: 30.12.2012 (with a possibility to get an extension).

Description:
Key responsibility is to coordinate and execute the technical implementation and configuration of a new template for an APO DP environment, following business requirements and in collaboration with the other members of the project team. As technical implementation manager, the candidate will have also the responsibility for the SAP system configuration and ABAP coding, involving all relevant parties (eg IT technical team, IT QA, Business).
Working together with DP Stream leader and business project manager, the technical implementation manager will focus on the following goals:
* Design and management of the implementation of solution including system configuration and ABAP coding if possible
* Coordinate and manage the implementation of technical and functional solution
* Respect the clients process methodology, following SDLC requirements and STF way of working, especially for the implementation of changes
* Manage the testing through the "path to production", supporting also the UAT
* Manage technical & business cutover activities
* Provide direct support to end-users. This activity may include direct contact and training
Experience required:
- Have at least 5-6 years of experience in hand on consulting work in APO
- Have a functional understanding about Supply Chain Management processes
- Very good knowledge of English, both in writing and speaking
- Excellent communication skills, on functional level, towards key user community
The ideal candidate should have experience with/knowledge of the following functional and technical skills:
- Defining planning books, key figures, macro's in DP project
- Experience with Alert Monitoring & enhancements related to Alert Monitoring (eg BADIs)
- Experience with CVC structure re-organization (reduction/addition of characteristics)
- Defining technical enhancements to solve non standard issues.
- Must be able to define enhancements for a developer and guide the development process.
- Reading/extracting data to BW.
- Statistical forecasting
- Technical writing skills to write the proper documentation according to internal regulations (SDLC, CSV, GmP, )
Experience desired:
Experience in BW
Experience in ABAP development and debugging is a plus
Good knowledge of the specific business processes
