Performance Engineer - Our client, an international financial services company, is currently looking for a experienced Performance Engineer with deep knowledge of Java(JEE) and good understanding of C.What the Client offers is:
- Responsibility for performance assurance, across a diverse range of banking applications
- Responsibility for analyzing the dynamic behaviour of systems under load in order to identify and resolve root causes of performance or stability issues
- A challenging environment with large scale applications
- A well established team of about 20 performance experts, that fosters team support and a mutual exchange of ideas
To be considered for this long term role you must have the following skills / experience:
- A Graduate or Postgraduate level of education majoring in Information Technology
- Software development experience in Java (JEE) and a good understanding of C
- Previous experience in performance analysis of complex IT systems
- Previous experience in leading small technical teams is desirable
- Previous experience using load generation tools (Load Runner, Grinder, JMeter, etc) is desirable
- Interest in statistical analysis and the ability to convey this information into an effective reporting format for both the IT and Business departments
- Flexibility in terms of working hours and an appreciation of the performance testing cycle within the software release process
- Fluency in English is essential and a good understanding of German is advantageous
