For our customer in Zurich we are looking for a Windows Engineer Specialist

Your responsibilities:

  • As a Windows Server Engineer/Specialist you are working closely with the project team and the infrastructure engineering teams. You support us in various Windows related tasks as Scripting (Perl, Shell, VBScript), Windows Server configuration/setup, Active Directory implntation, Citrix/Remote Desktop setup and packaging.

    Required Skills:

  • Several years of experience with Windows Server 2008 engineering
  • Several years of experience with Windows Packaging
  • Scripting languages - Windows BAT, PowerShell, VBScript, Perl
  • Windows packaging and deployment - good knowledge of WISE or Orca packaging tool
  • Windows server Firewall configuration, IPSEC
  • Microsoft infrastructure & Windows systems - in particular Windows Server 2008

    Ideal additional skills:

  • Advantage: experience with tools like Matlab, SAS, R, Stata, Subversion and SSH
  • Advantage: experience with performance issues in Windows environments
  • Advantage: experience in PKI authentication from Windows Server to Oracle DB on UNIX
  • English fluent, German nice to have
