Our client, a global company, seeks a Technical Architect with expertise in end-to-end messaging in SAP systems. With expert knowledge of ALE, ABAP and XI you would be responsible for ensuring the best technical architecture is used in application construction projects. You will support and guide Developers to deliver best in class development solutions in accordance with business needs and development standards.Architect Consultancy
Provide technical expertise to functional teams during project/gap proposal. Define high level technical design, development efforts and timelines. Monitor existing solution and propose alternative solution based on new technologies available.
Development Support
Define the best delivery model available for projects. Propose DevCo and Developer required skills and assess assigned resources to ensure they meet the required skill set. Monitor project execution and provide ad-hoc technical support to development team.
Delivery Support
Support 3rd level sustain in order to speed issue resolution for complex incidents. Act on root cause analysis and solution review/redesign on recurrent or performance issues. Provide appropriate Knowledge transfer to local support organisations on the applications developed to enable them to support the Markets on the same.
Candidates applying for this role must have a broad understanding and experience of SAP modules, and expert knowledge in the following areas:
- SAP Application Link Enabling (ALE)
- SAP Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP)
- SAP Exchange Infrastructure (XI)
Knowledge in any of the following areas would be a plus:
- Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)
- Java programming
The working language is English, and the role is contract-based for an initial period of 7 months (to start ASAP, to end 31 Dec 2012).
