We are looking for a Client Manager for Support Services.
 
Description
The Client Manager for Support Services is responsible for business development and solution selling with a high focus on maintenance support concepts, mission critical services, datacenter services and multivendor support.
 
- Establish a professional and consultative relationship with the client, up to and including the C level. Developing a core understanding of the unique business needs of the client
- Use the expertise to seek out new opportunities to expand and enhance existing opportunities to build the pipeline in and drive pursuit
- Significant percentage of time spent directly with customer; interfaces with all levels
- Focus on growing contractual renewals with more complexity
- Active engagement in solution designs and development of proposals
- End to end responsibility for the sales process
- Close the sales
- Directs or coordinates supporting sales activities
- Develop business plans in conjunction with customers and HP
- Responsible for managing sales pipeline
 
Qualifications
Education and Experience Required:
Demonstrated achievement of progressively higher quota and diversity of business
customer. Selling experience within industry and on similar solutions. Typically 3-5 years
of sales experience. Sales experience in the desired specialty would be appreciated. 
 
Knowledge and Skills Required:
- Understands the role of Information Technology (IT) within area of specialization
and how the company's solutions differentially address specific vertical industry challenges as well as their cross-segment capabilities
- Understands and applies program/project management methods and processes to define, plan, cost, resource, track and ensure successful pursuit
- Establishes a professional working relationship up to the clients executive level
- Understands how to leverage HP's portfolio and change the playing field on our competitors
- Understands and applies consultative selling methods
- Understands services selling methods
- Demonstrates leadership and initiative in successfully driving specialty sales in accounts - prospecting, negotiating and closing deals
- Demonstrates service or product knowledge and professionalism in researching and sharing service-related information with account teams and customers.
- Account planning and accurate account revenue forecasting skills
- Collaborates with management and sales teams in shared accounts to ensure seamless integration of specialist sales with other sales activities
- Cultivates & maintains positive relationships with customers to ensure account
retention & growth, and position the company as the preferred vendor for meeting all business needs
