Customer Engineer
For our client we are currently looking for a Customer Engineer for a 6 months contract in Zug, Switzerland.
Your function:
As Customer Engineer you provide expert technical support to aid customers in the resolution of complex technical problems incurred in the installation or operation of computer-related products. Supported equipment may include enterprise Servers, PC and laptop computers, disc subsystems and drives, computer and telecommunications systems, as well as high-end networking and complex product configuration including storage. You have to communicate effectively with the customer to resolve any issues, have a high level of troubleshooting skills with regard to hardware and software problems, repairs to the board level, and provide leadership to other technical employees.
Required technical skills:
- SCCM in depth and Project experience
- In depth SQL knowledge
- Microsoft Active Directory setup and management
- Consulting in Microsoft Architecture
- Netbackup Setup and Operation
- Server Administration
Nice-to-have skills:
- SharePoint setup and administration
- DataDomain Systems setup and operation
- Netapp Storage setup and operation
- Scripting Pearl, VBScript, Powershell
- Desktop Support (Imaging, Processes, Automation )
- Network (DHCP, DNS, general) Basic knowledge
Other Skills:
- Fluent in German and English (spoken, written)
- Strong team and social skills
- Project Management
- Willingness to learn and develop
- Experience in technical documentation
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 6 months (with likelihood to extend till 31th Dec 12)
Location: Zug, Switzerland
Rate: Negotiable
