for an Expert Business Analyst Finance Project in Zürich / Switzerland
Position goals
We are looking for an Expert Business Analyst to strengthen the project team in the area of Asset Liability Management (ALM), standardized cash flow analysis. You are responsible to gather and document business and IT specifications together with the respective field experts. Therefore you will join the project team of business experts and IT technical experts.
Main tasks
With the respective business and IT experts you
• gather, document and manage business specifications and IT specifications
• identify use cases and document the use case flow
• create respective functional and non-functional (e.g. Performance) specification documents
• support and validate the GUI design process
• support and validate workflow and process specifications
• build and maintain a trusted relationship with our internal customers and technical teams
• build briges between business experts (actuaries, treasury officers, economic valuation and reporting specialists) and IT development team
• maintain a focus on a high level of quality of requirements and specification documents
Your skills
• Minimum 3 years business analysis skills and experience, Finance, ALM or actuarial experience is a plus
• Strong customer focus, Knowledgeable in BA methodology, Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Experience in agile Software Development methodology
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills; able to work independently as well as within a global team
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to articulate complicated and complex technical issues to a non-technical audience
• Ability to work under pressure and high level of flexibility
• Proven ability to get things done
• Fluent in English, German is a plus
• Ability to create and maintain the following list of artefacts:
o Functional/Non Functional Specifications incl. Use Cases, Process/Workflow Models, Information Diagrams
o Screen & Report Design
o System Context Diagram
o Data Dictionary
o Code Tables (Reference Data)
o System Architecture Overview Diagram
o Operations Documents
Workload: 100% Start: 2 April 2012 Duration: 6 months, with option of prolongation
