For our customer in the outskirts of Zurich we are looking ASAP for an

Analyst Developer

Within Multi Manager Business a requirement has arisen to decommission two of our core Business Data Interface systems and migrate the necessary functionality to other areas and systems within the organisation.In order to successfully achieve this you will need to work alongside several different teams both Technology and Business to establish their requirements whilst also supporting their day to day operational needs. You will need to have the technical skill to search through the existing codebase to determine how the data is sourced/manipulated to perform the desired operations, to then be able to work alongside the development team to assist them in migrating the existing functionality to the target strategic systems.Working within a dynamic and agile environment, a good understanding and appreciation of Quantitative analysis would be advantageous.

Skills required:

  • Produce detailed designs and estimates for items of development work
  • Develop software to deadlines and quality standards
  • Ability to work directly with the Business users to establish requirements
  • Basics in quantitative analysis to understand business requirements
  • Ensure code is produced to development standards regarding reviews/pairing, unit testing and test-driven development (TDD)
  • Ensure code is submitted for agreed and appropriate functional and regression testing
  • Liaise with end users for user acceptance testing
  • Carry out 3rd Line support as required
  • Report on progress to line manager, escalating issues promptly
  • Comply with any audit requirements
  • Co-ordinate with 3rd party providers as required
  • Ensure all development adheres to solutions architecture

    Technical skills:

  • Excel and VBA
  • C# and .NET
  • MS SQL experience
  • SQL (pre-dominantly T-SQL)
  • XML/DOM
  • Matlab
