Our multinational end client based in Geneva/Lausanne is now looking for a SAP Middleware Developer/Architect to interface SAP System to join its team on a long term basis.

English speaking only is required, French or German speaking will be a plus.

Start: ASAP

The Role:

Develop and architect Middleware solutions for business applications; provide guidance to programmers in developing adapters and message flows.

Responsible for the development, testing, implementation and support of map flows and application interfaces by utilizing the WebSphere MQ Middleware tool set.

You will also be responsible for the development and support of platform dependent adapters (Java, Scripting) to provide application interface to messaging (WMQ, JMS).

Additionally, acts as a liaison who will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical deliverables and communicate this information to other Middleware developers.

You will:

*Architect, design, develop and support solutions application interfaces using Middleware tools.
*Collect and document interface requirements & specifications. Communicate with business users and develop interfaces based on financial message formats
*Design, develop and support adapters using messaging transport layer
*Implement software upgrades and tech changes.

You need:

*Strong skills in the WebSphere MQ Middleware tool or equivalent experience.
*5+ years of experience in Middleware development.
*Experience with MQ Series programming APIs or/and JMS and Web Services.
*Deep understanding of database management system concepts and best practices in application design and messaging system design in particular.
*Strong programming experience with industry standard programming languages and environments.
*Strong analytical skills;
