Site Engineer
Consultant
The Site Engineer is responsible for the definition, implementation and supervision of all Civil Works and Hardware issues necessary for the preparation and execution of the swap. This includes elaborating of customer requirements (construction handbook), Swiss regulations, Huawei internal site engineering standards and create, implement and supervise site engineering scenarios/standards together with our implementation partners. The Site Engineer reports to the Deployment Manager.
The main activities and responsibilities are:
- Definition and implementation of Civil Work and HW guidelines for swap activities in accordance with the site guidelines from Sunrise, Alcatel-Lucent and Swiss rules
- Agreement with Sunrise and Alcatel-Lucent about defined guidelines
- Training and implementation of guidelines towards Huawei Partner and internal resources
- Supervision of guidelines and site quality audits according the defined rules and with the assistance of Field Engineers
- Define site engineering material purchasing and assist in set up and manage supply contracts with material suppliers
Requirements:
- At least 5 years working experience in wireless site engineering field, in a telecommunication vendor (Service or working experience with top Swiss telecom operators is preferred).
- Practical oriented approch
- Proven experience in customers interface
- Results-oriented work by objectives, focus
- Strong problem solving attitude
- Good communication skills and ability to work with different cultures
- Good knowledge NSN/Ericsson/Huawei equipment (GSM/UMTS/MW)
- Fluency in English and German or French
- Willingness to travel on a regular basis
