We are looking for a Director, Head of IT Product &Supply Chain division in the area of London or Amsterdam:PERMANENT POSITION!
Summary:
The IT director will have the overall responsibility for all business applications within the Product & Supply Chain division. This includes development of application strategies, architectures and roadmaps in alignment with the P&SC division and group business needs/strategy as well as the Global IT strategy. The position will oversee the division IT function being responsible for IT application strategy and roadmaps, targeting harmonization and standardization of business data and processes by implementing division/group solutions. The director will plan and coordinate the implementation of such solutions in close alignment with the business management and any external partners. The function will be responsible for the governance of the solutions and ensure that they maintain their integrity and remain standard division/group solutions. This position will have the overall responsibility for the operation of the division applications with respect to the fulfillment of service levels and that the operational environment meets group standards for security, performance and regulatory compliance.
Tasks:
1. Partner with business to understand business strategies and needs
2. Develop application solution strategies, architectures and roadmaps in alignment with business and Global IT management team.
3. Develop and manage annual budget for the P&SC IT function
4. Develop, with business and Global IT, division application roadmaps and coordinate to a global application roadmap. Oversee division implementation progress and report to CIO, business mgmt., steering committee etc.
5. Drive implementation of standard division/group applications and the retirement of local non-group solutions.
6. Develop, agree and implement Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for division/group applications
7. Responsible for the operation of division applications and that they meet agreed service levels and that the operational environment meets group standards for security, performance and regulatory compliance
8. Direct, manage, mentor and coach all member of the P&SC IT team
9. Set measurable objectives and standards for team member’s performance and conduct
Skills:
1. Bachelor’s degree or similar in Information Technology / Computer Science.
2. Business focus and experience from a similar role in a multi-national company
3. Solid experience managing people and budgets
4. Preferably experience managing multi-national or global programs implementing standard solutions and retiring legacy applications
5. Application operations management experience
6. Solid experience with current application technologies and architectures
7. Good people and interactive skills (up and down)
8. Ability to work well in a matrix organization
9. Some international travel required
