Enterprise Architect required, to work on a project within a major pharmaceutical in Switzerland
Job Purpose:
- Support the move from existing to new Enterprise Architecture repository/tooling (MEGA to iServer)
- Support the creation/extension of the business architecture for one or multiple business domains
- Support the Pharma strategic programs on Application Portfolio/Lifecycle Management (ALM)
Main Tasks:
- Working collaboratively with business representatives, process owners and subject matter experts
- Support the development of business capability maps for the various business domains
- Support the development of the high level, cross functional business processes, links them to the lower levels
- Support the development of the business object model and corresponding application architecture
- Support projects regarding best practice/best fitting solution
- Research and provide information on technical trends and best practices relevant to business IT and business.
- Act as advocate of multiple stakeholder's interests (business and IT).
- Manage, maintain and evolve the process and policies for business and IT governance that support the principles of the Enterprise Architecture
Main Skills:
Minimum education/experience:
- TOGAF9 certified or sound experience
- Business architecture & IT Architecture skills
- Current IT technology skills
- Good communication skills
Desirable education/experience:
- General SAP, Oracle, Microsoft & IBM knowledge
- Knowledge of GxP practice
- Knowledge of Pharmaceutical industry
- At least 10 years of experience in Business and IT and in global, multi-national companies
- Ability to articulate theoretical constructs in real & pragmatic terms.
- Ability to cope with project complexities, ambiguities and Matrix organizations.
Languages:
- English written & spoken (required)
- French or German desired
Location: Basel - Switzerland
Duration: 2.4.2012 - 1.10.2012 (with option for extension)
