Team Assistant
Consultant
The Team Assistant will work in a telecom swap project in a team of 30-40 Engineers under the general supervision of the Project Director. You will perform administrative support functions, which may include clerical work such as personnel, finance, registry, and procurement. More specifically, the Project Assistant will perform the following duties:
Main activities and responsibilities are:
- Maintain and use Huawei tools and processes for project management and financial triggering
- Assist in the preparation of progress reports and financial reports on the project
- Exchange of official correspondence related to the project activities
- Assist in the development of project work plan
- Prepare documentation for discussions and briefing sessions
- Arrange appointments for supervisor, receive visitors, places and screen telephone calls
- Respond to routine requests for information and assist in making travel arrangements for project personnel
- Maintain office filing system, prepare minutes of the meetings
- Interpretation and processing of entitlements, issuance of contracts and maintenance of various personnel records and files
- Collect, register and maintain information on project activities by reviewing reports and through first hand sources
- Undertake other assignments that the National Project Coordinator and Project Manager may deem necessary
Requirements:
- Practical experience in similar positions/projects
- Minimum of 3-5 years work experience in project management and/or public administration
- Good knowledge of English, German and French language, Chinese language is an asset.
- Computer skill, good knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, e-mail and Internet
