The position's focused around delivering a web based DBA tools containing the development and maintenance of Web GUIs & Web Services and development/improvement of the clients in-house tool set used by DB Ops. Evaluation and migration of existing ASP web applications to ASP. Net will also be involved in this role. We are looking for good know-how in Application Delivery Processes and the right candidate has a University degree in computer science or equivalent work/project experience.Essential experience is needed in the following areas:
- Structured Development
- IT Infrastructure Engineering Skills
- Working Experience in Large Standardized and Distributed Environments
- Problem Solving and Cross-Technical Integration
- Testing, Documentation (Structured Documentation)
- Work Experience in International Teams
- Web Application Programming (ASP, ASP.NET, JavaScript, HTML)
- RDBMS Servers Experience
- Experience User Account Management
- Ability to collaborate with people located in different regions and communicate effectively between different time zones (EU, ASIA, USA, UK)
- Ability to work efficient and drive results under pressure
- Must adhere to clients quality commitments
nice to have skills are:
- Perl Programming
- Sybase Products (ASE, IQ, RS)
- MSSQL and Oracle experience
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
We are looking for about 5+ years experience
Start Date: April 2012, 4-6 month + possible extension after that.
