USER SUPPORTER IN IT CHANGE MANAGEMENT

My large banking client based in Zürich are currently looking for an external resource within the IT Change Management department for user support duties for the internally developed IT Change Management application.

Location: Zurich Switzerland

Duration: 6 months - with possible extension

Start date: 01.04.12

Language: Fluent English and German Required

The application accompanies the engineering departments along the software development life cycle through unit testing, integration testing, quality assurance and into production.

At the end of each phase, projects are required to fulfil certain delivery requirements as part of the tollgate process before they cantransition into the next phase.

The duties of the user supporter include:
- providing consultancy services to users with respect to the above-mentioned implementation of the IT Change Management process within the application
- performing administrative tasks in the application, eg unlocking phases where projects missed deadlines,replanning phases of change requests, etc.
- compilation of listsof change requests (CR) and the subsequent processing of the CRs with respect to risk assessment, formal acceptance of deliverables for the quality assurance phase, etc.

Skillset Required:
- Several yearsofexperience in change management process (in alignment with ITIL V3)
- Several years of experience in MS Office Tools (specially Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- Understanding of Unix/Windows/Mainframe/network/Firewall technologies
- Candidates should be comfortable with using both German and English, not only in mails, but also on the telephone
