For our client in Zurich Area of Switzerland, we are currently looking for a System Developer to join a responsible for various existing business applications which are used to administrate, monitor and analyze the company's programs. It takes care of the design, development, customization and ongoing enhancement of these solutions to provide the foundation for global operations, risk management and investment monitoring of the company.
In your role you will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Development and enhancement of business applications and processes
- Process assurance and data integrity
- Implementation of interfaces between customized core applications and the proprietary Datawarehouse
- General programming using various languages with a focus on T-SQL as well as C# on .NET and Front Script (a proprietary programming language)
- Education of firm-wide users and documentation of systems and processes
For this challenging position we are looking for a committed person with a university degree in information technology, mathematics/physics or sciences. Furthermore, the successful candidate ideally possesses financial industry work experience in programming as well as a keen interest in and knowledge of relational databases. An accurate, effective and independent working style as well as strong analytical skills are a must while experience in economics and/or finance are favorable. A high level of flexibility, the ability to work under pressure.
