On behalf of our client, a major pharmaceutical based in Basel, we are looking for capable
SAP Basis Administrators
This contracting opportunity is scheduled to start in April lasting until the end of 2012 with possible extension.
You will be administering the SAP BW/BO landscape including interface monitoring, performance optimizing, system backup and security issue handling. Your Oracle Database knowledge will assist you in efficiently supporting this environment. On a daily basis you will work with the application support team and cooperatively find ways to resolve upcoming issues. If ABAP and Java are not a problem for you and you bring the following skills to this role as well, you might just be the person we are looking for.
-Strong SAP BW/BO Basis administration skills
-Knowledgeable about NetWeaver ABAP & Java and SolMan
-Experience with SAP Solution Manager
-Familiar with SAP BW/BO security and authorization
-Knowledge of Oracle DBA tasks
-Excellent understanding of a Linux OS
-Strong documentation skills
-Experience working in the life science industry is desired
-Fluent English, German is an advantage
