Our client, an international operating financial services company, is currently looking for a COGNOS reporting consultant/writer for the location Zurich. Our client is in the progress of implementing the IBM OpenPages GRC product. The COGNOS product is Embedded in the OpenPages application. In-depth knowledge of both the COGNOS reporting suite as well as the OpenPages solution - important to understand how they work/interact with each other.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- They require a report writing specialist to support our business reporting needs in designing, creating, testing and publishing reports within the OpenPages application
- The Report Writer is required to document any specific COGNOS report functionality for support purposes
- The reports could either be scheduled or Real Time orientated. Reports format might include dashboards, list reports as well as drill through reports
- Provide on-the-job user training to their internal report administrator
- It is expected that the resources inherently come with the necessary skills, experience and acumen needed to perform the tasks
Technical/Personal skills required:
- Good interpersonal, verbal and communication skills. Plus, attention to detail and analytical
- It is expected resource comes with Datawarehouse, business intelligence, database skills and SQL writer experience
- COGNOS BI suite (Report Studio, Query Studio, Analysis Studio etc.) version 8 (upwards)
- OpenPages GRC application version 6
- Windows
- Oracle 11g
Important additional information:
- Work is expected to be onsite in Zurich Switzerland
- Short term assignment of minimum 30 working days with the possibility for a longer term engagement
