For our client, we are looking for an SAP FI-AA Consultant in Schaffhausen.

What is the scope of the project?
Background is the planned shut-down of a chemical manufacturing plant at Schaffhausen until e.o. 2015. From a finance point of view the project scope is primarily related to financial impacts out of this decision. Special focus is on fixed assets processes run on SAP ECC 6.03. Requirement is to define and implement a sustainable SAP based solution to manage accelerated depreciation across different accounting principles (US-GAAP, local Swiss statutory) without touching upon other existing financial processes. (eg no overlap with regular depreciation, no impact on standard cost calculation, etc.)
Why has the need to hire this contractor arisen?
Limited internal resources/expertise in setting up a special depreciation area in SAP FI-AA in a live environment to manage this specific requirement

SAP ECC 6.03 (classic GL) platform "EuRoPe2" Pharm EMEA
Hard core SAP FI-AA knowledge
Ability to deploy conceptual design and to coordinate implementation supported by pur client's internal IT resources. Specific knowledge in FI-AA special depreciation capabilities in a live productive environment (no Greenfield implementation). Knowledge of US-GAAP and SWISS GAAP.
Primary Tasks and responsibilities
-Key priority is the definition of a concept for FI-AA redesign/enhancement as well as the subsequent implementation of the solution.
-Driving conceptual design, provide blueprint, support business key user, interact with IT organization, support implementation & cut-over activities, support UAT testing
Profile:
-SAP FI-AA specialist with proven expertise
Non-Technical profile requirements (standardized):
- Accepts personal responsibility for client satisfaction
- Strong tracking, coordination and project planning skills
- Establishes and manages engagement objectives, expectations and quality plan
- Ability to identify and implement process and/or application improvements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Must be able to work on multiple simultaneous tasks with limited supervision

- Excellent customer service, interpersonal, communication and team collaboration skills
- Able to follow change management procedures and internal guidelines
Methodology/Certification requirements (standardized)
- Master and/or Bachelor Degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Chemistry or Bioinformatics OR equivalent through experience. Advanced course work in technical systems plus continued education in technical disciplines is preferred
- Additional certification is a plus
Language proficiencies:
-English spoken and written è Documentation will be in English
-German language mandatory
