Sybase DBA required for an international team to work in Zurich, Switzerland for a longer term contract opportunity; you shall require:- muss
Our clients team supports 700 SQl instances und 250 Sybase instances with approximately 5000 Datenbases
On_Call 7x24 availability is also required every now and again
Scope of Work:
The DBA shall work on 185 Sybase Instances from Solaris that will be migrated to Linux
Well experienced with:-
- Sybase ASE Server version 15.x
- Sybase Replication 15.x
- MS SQL Server
Nice to have skills:
- Sybase Replication
- Sybase Partitioning
- Sybase SIPMigrate
Excellent team player
Experience with global scale projects is a strong advantage
Experience within the banking industry is preferred
Ability to work alone and works well in a team
Strong communication skills
Demonstrating energy and effort; consistently striving for excellence
Setting objectives and ensuring they are achieved
Fluent business English required both written and spoken, German is nice to have
A higher University degree, ideally accompanied by certification
