J2SE Senior Software Developer - Finance - Zurich
Main skills: J2SE, multi-thread, technical analysis, Full development life cycle, FX
Location: Zurich
Our client within the field of Investment Banking seeks a senior J2SE developers in order develop a suite of applications which will provide business functionality to most aspects of the trade flow within IT FICC FX&MM, eCommerce trading systems & connectivity to large institutional clients. The business services tier is a multi-threaded highly-available server suite built upon an Enterprise Service Bus, Apache Service Mix, and the Camel routing and mediation engine.
Requirements
* Hands-on design and development
* Components of leading small project work
* Define interfaces and messages and processes with Cash & Derivative IT development, IT Integration & eCommerce teams to as required.
* Client requirements gathering with sponsors to define functionality and APIs as required.
Skills
* Knowledge of Software development life cycle
* Understanding of Software life cycle with focus on maintainability
* Banking FX experience a plus
* Strong JAVA 6 Standard Edition knowledge
* Java development in a multi-thread non-J2EE environment
* Requirements capture and technical analysis
* Sybase ASE development experience (stored procedures and DDL)
* Messaging Technologies (JMS/RV/EMS/MQ)
* Familiarity with Linux is a plus
