On behalf of our client, a prestigious international Telecommunications company, Manning Global Group is currently looking for RAN Service Engineers to work on a contract basis in Zurich, Switzerland.

Main Responsibilities:

  • The RAN Service Engineer is responsible for implementation of the RAN System and obtain System Acceptance. The RAN Team consist of Wireless Engineers for 2G and 3G System.
  • Implement and Integrate the Test Bed RAN System
  • Perform System Tests together with Sunrise and Alcatel-Lucent in order to obtain System Acceptance
  • Implement and integrate BSC/RNC
  • Perform Pilot and live swap integration from OMC and maintain the administration of down time
  • technical support to the customers and partners in TAC or on field
  • perform training to customers or subcontractors.
  • Assist Partner remotely or on site in case of troubleshooting

Qualifications:

  • University or Bachelor degree in Telecommunication or Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
  • At least 5 years Working experience in Wireless Access Network project(specially wireless swap project)
  • Good knowledge with NSN/Ericsson/HUAWEI RAN GSM/WCDMA equipment, familiar with the network architecture, all related interfaces and protocols, typical signalling procedure etc.
  • Ability to implement and supervise installation, commissioning and testing independently (including survey and acceptance)
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, FLM/SLM
  • Willingness to travel on a regular basis
  • Fluent English, German or French is an asset
  • A previous work experience inside the world leading telecom manufacturers or operators is strongly preferred.
