For our client in the banking industry, we are looking for a Senior Sybase DBA in Zurich for 6 months.
You place will be within the existing TIS Team and we therefore expect you to have a good MS SQL skills. The team supports 700 SQL Instances and 250 Sybase Instances with around 5000 databases 24/7.
Scope of Work:
In this function you will work as member of a team in a project which consists of the migration of 185 Sybase Instances from Solaris to Linux.
As DBA, you will support the following Sybase und MS Sql products:
- Sybase ASE Server version 15.x
- Sybase Replication 15.x
- MS SQL Server
Desired (still to be discussed in the team):
- Sybase Replication
- Sybase partioning
- Sybase SIPMigrate experience is a plus
