ColdFusion Developer (part time) Technical& Must Have Skills:
- ColdFusion in conjunction with the Fusebox framework
- MS SQL, Oracle, Sybase, J2EE packaging and distribution
- XML, JavaScript, HTML, Tomcat (and overall server set-up)
- Release management
- Fluent English
Nice to have skills:
- Apache, IIS (and Jakarta Tomcat connector), AJAX
- Object Relational Mapping Framework (eg Hibernate/Transfer)
- IOC - dependency injection frameworks (eg Coldspring)
ColdFusion Developer required to work on one of the largest trading floors in Europe. Your job will consist of extending, maintaining and rolling out an existing large web based application internally within the bank but also externally to clients independently of technical support hence you will need to have excellent technical skills and the ability to work closely with the banks internal and external clients. You will travel (mainly in Europe) to visit large clients to support their IT in preparing their infrastructure in order to install our web application on site. Your role will be to act as single developer/supporter for a large application and some minor smaller applications, all running on ColdFusion in addition you will be expert in developing using the Fusebox framework.
This is a challenging role which will suit someone who is highly technical skilled and is willing to work a minimum of 50% (2 & ½ days per week) with the possibility for hours increasing with time. Ideally this would suit someone who is independently employed. There is a good deal of flexibility with regard to working hours which should facilitate scheduling. You will need to be fluent in English and have the ability to work independently. You will have experience working in an international, multi-cultural environment.
