Für unseren Kunden suchen wir einen sehr erfahrenen SQL Server DBA wie folgt (English):
Kurzbeschreibung:
SQL Server database administration, maintenance & ongoing day-to-day operations support including installation, configuration, upgrade, patching, troubleshooting, performance tuning, backup and recovery.
Haupttätigkeiten:
Installing, configuring & patching SQL Server in clustered and non clustered environment
Upgrading SQL Server version from 2005 to 2008
Administration and Security management of SQL Server
Production and development database administration
SharePoint SQL database administration
Backing up and restoring of SQL Server and MYSQL databases
Disaster Recovery & High Availability (Failover Clustering)
Working knowledge of SQL Server reporting services.
Monitoring & Performance tuning of SQL Server/databases
Organise / perform support and trouble shooting for SQL Server and products
Replication, Mirroring and knowledge of setting up Remote Blob Storage
Working collaboratively in a team environment
Working in cross-functional project teams
Basic working knowledge of Windows and Red Hat Linux Operating Systems
Erwartet Erfahrungen:
Oracle 10g/11g database administration
Integration, Analysis, Notification services.
Heterogeneous DB Migration between Oracle and SQL Server
Minimum Erfahrungen:
Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline, computer science, engineering or mathematics
At least 5 years experience in SQL Server database administration in a production environment
At least 2 additional years experience in database programming, IT Operations, or application development
Wünschenswerte Erfahrungen:
Experience working in pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences industries
