Our client is looking for an experienced GERMAN SPEAKING SAP BW/BI candidate for a LONG TERM contract role. As a candidate you need to have experience with ETL within the HCM area.
The BW/BI consultant is responsible to identify and obtain the data required to satisfy the requirements of the BI project (SAP R/3 data, New Dimension product data, Data external to SAP within the organization (Legacy data), Data external to SAP from outside the organization).
Develop multidimensional data model, logical and physical data model design.
Develops detailed design and technical specification documents.
Configuring the BI Back Office (Extractors, DataSources, Staging, Transormations, InforProviders, Datamarts, Netweaver, etc.). Testing of newly developed functions. Support of business staff regarding realization of business demands, system handling, continuous demand management and development of changes (customizing).
BI Front Office:
Develops detailed design (customizing) and technical specification documents. Configuring the BI Front Office (Query and Report development using: BEx, BusinessObject, Web, MS Excel, Visual Basic, R/3 Drill Through, etc.). Testing of newly developed functions.
Support of business staff regarding realization of business demands, system handling, continuous demand management and development of changes (customizing). ETL/Datamodelling and exposure to Cognos an advantage.
The role expectation is that the consultant is a seasoned solution expert in all aspect and functionality of the SAP BW/BI module including Data Extraction and Storing (Back Office) and Information Presentation (Front Office) environments. Technical Skills & Specialisation: Expertise on BW system (BW 3.5 and SAP BI 7.0). Expertise on multidimensional modelling. Good knowledge of the Accelerated SAP methodology and tools. Business Intelligence. Excellent communication skills.
Excellent time management skills. Excellent problem resolution and organizational skills.
8 YEARS plus solid experience in SAP and German language a must but not essential.
