For our client in Zurich, top-tier investment bank, we are currently looking for a
Database Administrator/Engineer/Oracle
Responsibilities:
- Configuration and general maintenance of databases Database Services standards
- Shell Scripting - ability to understand existing scripts, enhance and write basic scripts from scratch
- Data analysis and data mining queries related to the scanning solution
- Performance and Tuning skills (in association with Database Engineering and Symatec experts )
- System table analysis (particular system catalogue relating to data tables and columns )
- SQL Scripting & general queries against diverse database schemas (Oracle/Sybase/MS-SQL )
Your profile:
- Knowledge of Oracle 9i, 10g and 11g
- Strong skills in Performance Tuning
- Sybase and MS-SQL Server secondary skills preferred
- Service Delivery experience
- Banking experience would be a plus
- Fluent English (both spoken and written)
Starting date: ASAP
Duration: 6 months
