PMO - German Speaking - Contract - Switzerland - 12 months
On behalf of our client, a major global bank based in Switzerland, Nicoll Curtin require a Project Officer/PMO who is fluent in both German and English for a 12 month contract based in Zurich and Basel.
The Role:
Providing administrative, communication, organization, reporting and financial control support to Program/Project Managers.
Tasks:
* Supports Program/Project Managers in generating project contracts;
* Supports Program/Project Managers in project communication and co-ordination;
* Supports Program/Project Managers in production and maintenance of project documentation;
* Organise and take minutes in project meetings, workshops and reviews;
* Maintains program/project organization charts;
* Tracks project risks, issues, action logs and project deliverables on behalf of Program/Project Managers;
* Supports Program/Project Managers for specifically agreed tasks;
* Supports Program/Project Managers in creation and maintenance of project plans;
* Supports Program/Project Managers in creation of project status reports and financial forecasts required for project control;
* Supports Program/Project Managers in compliance processes;
* Supports Program/Project Managers with project financial controlling.
Requirements:
Ability to capture, document, organise and report IT budget and spending to enable decision making.
Ability to identify a resolution for project issues and the mitigation of identified risks.
Awareness of IT applications and systems (eg Mainframe vs. decentralized) used by company and updated on industry developments.
Ability to track and report of project progress against a predefined work plan.
Ability to ensure that IT quality processes and standards are defined and their outcomes measured to provide a high quality of service delivery to the customer.
Ability to manage timely completion of own tasks/work packages/project.
Ability to communicate in a clear, concise and target group specific manner (may incl. collection, creation, distribution, storage, retrieval and disposure of information).

eg PSR, MS Project, IT Dashboard etc.
