Our Client is seeking an experienced SAP Enterprise Portal Specialist to join their team to contribute to the design, master build and implementation of the Enterprise Portal Platform and Knowledge Management solution. Maintain the existing solution in line with current processes and design future approach and processes for maintenance.
Other responsibilities include:
- Provide skills and best practices associated to the design and configuration of the Enterprise Portal Knowledge Management solution.
- Contribute towards delivery of custom developments and standard solutions to meet business requirements for the Internal and External Portal design strategies.
- May design, develop and/or re-engineer highly complex application components, and integrate software packages, programs and reusable objects residing on multiple platforms
- Design and develop a low TCO Knowledge Management solution within the current Enterprise Portal solution.
So seeking applicants with the following:
- At least 2 Netwaver 04/EP 7 SAP Portal implementation life cycles experience
- Experience of projects that include medium to large scale KM implementations (high user volumes - internal and external facing) as well as performing configuration/development of elements of the Portal Platform
Portal Platform Experience
- Development of Portal components using the NetWeaver Developer Studio
- Configuration of portal iViews, pages and roles using the Portal Content Studio and the generic creator
- Configuration of the Portal framework, desktops and themes including their use in external facing portal.
- Any development experience of the Portal Object Model, Page Builder or the use of external facing portal would be beneficial
Content Management Experience
- Setup and optimization of TREX
- Creation and management of XML forms in a multi lingual environment
- Java Development of in a KM context
- Flexible UI customization
- Knowledge of SAP Enterprise Portal 7 (NetWeaver 04s)
