Job Purpose:
- Leading transition projects with full or partial responsibility on technology implementation
- Responsible for managing key projects to ensure that goals and objectives of the project are accomplished within prescribed time frames and funding.

Key Accountabilities:

- Develop project plans specifying goals, staffing, scheduling, identification of risks, contingency plans and allocation of available resources
- Communicate plans, status, and issues to IT steering group or account executives; coordinate and respond to request for changes from original specifications
- Monitor actual versus planned expenditures; analyse variances for discussion with reporting lines recommend process improvements
- Recommend acquisition of subcontractors or third party vendors, and act as project contact for third party vendors
- Formulate and define scope and objectives of projects; co-ordinate activities of IT project team to ensure progress; establish work plan and staffing for project; and assign duties, responsibilities and scope of authority to project.
- Identify and negotiate schedules, milestones and resources requirements to meet project outcomes
- Lead the client interface during the requirements, development, and implementation or delivery of the proposed IT solutions, maintain positive relationships with the customer achieving client satisfaction.
- Ensure that project team follows methodologies and tools consistent with WorkPlace Technologies and IT policies.
- Recognise, analyse and solve problems and resolve project plan deviations as they are encountered.
- Act as mentor to less experienced project managers

Job Dimensions:
- Project with spend of up to $100M, IT project budget up to $1.5M
- Deployment of standard IT solutions as well as new solutions - Significant data migration required as well as IT Infrastructure
- Lead/Team Management of up to 15 resources within a temporary project environment

Wo we are looking for:

- Manage multi country/cultural team
- Must have english and french as part of their portfolio.
- Bachelor degree in technology or equivalent
- PMP certification required
- Extensive skills in MS-Project and/or Clarity
- Minimum 10 years of Program/Project management with track record in MIS project management, including leadership of a several significant projects or project streams. Ability to manage project from initiation to successful implementation
- Strong communication skills
- Ability working in matrix organisation
- Able to demonstrate objectivity in decision making-makes the right call in decisions
- Leading others in the completion of project tasks and subtasks
- Directing the work of technical and functional resources
- Influencing others to follow a plan of action by using structured technical arguments
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Good customer facing skills
- Completes tasks without supervision, although is aware of the need to seek assistance when required
