We are looking for a Functional Learning Consultant specialising in adult learning, for our client, a multinational player in the consumer goods industry with corporate headquarters here in Vaud. Candidates must have experience of designing, delivering and measuring the impact of technical training solutions in complex global organisations.

Job purpose:

Work with Business Units to understand learning needs, and define, develop and deploy training solutions to regions.

Learning Consulting
  • Establish training needs and provide training solutions to meet functional business requirements and enhance performance
  • Provide guidance to functions on training methodology in area of responsibility
  • Conduct learning analysis, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement

Manage Training Solution Deployment

  • Support the deployment of training solutions in collaboration with the Regional Training Managers
  • Work in conjunction with Regional Training Managers to identify training needs and measure success of the training solutions
  • Ensure continuous improvement in all current and future training solutions using feedback from the Regional Training Managers

Stakeholder Management

  • Guide content developers to ensure high quality outcomes
  • Establish regular communication with Regional Training Managers
  • Communicate effectively on all relevant timelines, delivery methods and measurement and applicability to all Markets (technology application)
  • Share Communication and Training Solution deployment plan with Head of Regional Training, Regional Training Managers and Methods and Measurement Manager

T&L Technologies

  • Provide functional advice on appropriate T&L technology to address learning needs and provide appropriate Training Solutions
  • Ensure the Knowledge Transfer happens on all T&L tools
  • Provide recommendation on suitable repository, registration and tracking tools for the Training Solution
Job requirements:

Experience:
  • Proven ability to develop training solutions, learning delivery, project management and training administration
  • Experience in instructional design and the use of learning technologies
  • Minimum of 5 years work experience in people development and training area
  • Preferably some exposure to system implementation, training project management
Knowledge:
  • Expertise in learning and andragogical methods and tools
  • eLearning/blended learning awareness
  • Establishing training measurement
