Our client, a global household name in the FMCG industry, is looking for a Social Technologies Expert to provide technical assistance to their business projects (Facebook mainly). The consultant will ensure that standard processes, technologies and components are leveraged as well as contribute to projects defining and building standard technologies and components.Main responsibilities:
- Define, build and industrialize, in collaboration with other web services teams, a set of architecture and components for social technologies (facebook mainly) to meet the business requirements in terms of security, privacy, stability, availability and performance.
Ensure appropriate documentation and tool set are available and up-to-date to manage validated architecture landscape. - Ensure validated architecture is properly implemented in the hosting environment as well as proper knowledge is retained in the Operational teams.
- Provide 3rd level support for technologies and global component whilst collaborating with all teams for any critical problem resolution.
- Assist Poject management teams driving social technology projects leveraging standards, technologies and components while implementing the right quality gates
Candidates applying for this role must have:
- Complete understanding of Social & Web technologies including complex designs and architectures, including:
- PHP, HTML, SEO
- Facebook, Google+, Twitter, etc.
- Silverlight, Flash, XML/XSLT, CSS, Javascript/AJAX
- Content-Management-System (CMS), Web services
- Database: MySQL
- Infrastructure: Apache/Tomcat, Linux/Unix
- Policy Creation & Maintenance experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Technical Implementation experience
- Strong organizational and project management skills
This contract is to start as soon as possible, for the duration of 2012. The working language is English.
