Quality manager - CMMI
Job description
The responsibilities would typically include -
*Execute consulting engagements in "BUILD" space
*Carry out some of the following activities depending on nature of consulting engagement
-Quality Planning for organization and projects
-Good end to end understanding of project execution and driving associated processes.
-Develop the process workflows, procedures, checklists, templates etc
-Perform process training, piloting and handholding
-Mentor practitioners in process execution
-Conduct process QA audits based on customer QMS/industry best practice frameworks like CMMI/SPICE
-Perform metric analysis & reporting
-Participate in assessments to identify Opportunities For Improvement (OFIs) and best practices
*Strong stakeholder management
Following Required experience, knowledge and certification
The candidate should have
*worked in software processes and quality stream
*executed software process consulting assignments
*working knowledge of ISO 9001: 2000 & CMMI®
*knowledge in other frameworks like SPICE®, Malcolm Baldridge, ITIL®, COBIT®, PRINCE 2 desirable *good knowledge of development & maintenance processes
*good experience of system/software engineering life cycle and project management practices
*exposure to software engineering process tools
*CQM/CSQA/CSTE/PMP certifications
*Six sigma (Green belt, black belt and master black belt) certification desirable
