CLOUD COMPUTING / VIRTUALIZATION ENGINEER (CONTRACTOR)

Beschreibung

Oversee the design, architecture, and implementation of Private and Public Clouds, including building capabilities that support on-demand access, rapid scalability, and workflow automation. Deliver reference architectures, briefings, and documentation to the client. Work with a larger team to collaboratively implement the solution. This position is located in north-East Switzerland

Duration: 6/12 months


- 8 years of experience with designing, architecting, and implementing Windows or UNIX enterprise-scale application architectures, providing clustering and high availability, optimizing systems, and integrating with storage and networking architecture
- 5 years of experience with implementing multiple levels of IA security policies and controls, including hardware, server, OS, and perimeter security
- 2 years of experience with designing and supporting existing Cloud Infrastructures
- Ability to obtain a security clearance-BS degree required
- VMware Certification
- 5 years of experience with managing and leading Server Implementations in large organizations
- Experience with existing Cloud Computing Infrastructures, including commercial, private, and open source
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies, including VMware, Xen, KVM, and RHEV, server administration and support, SAN, NFS, backup and recovery, network load balancing, database replication, and system security
