On behalf of our client, an international IT provider, we are looking for junior Test analyst for a contract position based in Zürich, Switzerland.
We are looking for someone with 3-6 years experience and whom has worked within the Banking sector ideally in Credit Risk.
This role has the following responsibilities:
- Analysis of functional and technical specifications
- Preparation of detailed test scripts based on functional and technical specifications
- Follow test schedule set by Test Manager
- Execution of test scripts in structured test cycles
- Reporting of defects identified during test execution (including sequence of steps to reproduce)
- Follow best practices for testing (as stated by Production Testing services)
- Escalate test problems to Test Lead and Test Manager
- Collation of test results and metrics reporting to Test Manager
Requirements:
- Good knowledge of Sybase OR Oracle OR SQL server database
- ETL (Informatica PowerMart) testing background
- Basic UNIX knowledge
- Good Data staging and data testing
- Strong Shell and SQL Scripting skills
- Good Quality Centre as Test management solution/Defect tracking tool
- Experience in testing data anonymisation/masking solutions (on databases)
Domain:
Banking background ideally in Credit Risk
Commercial experience in Investment banking, or other financial, organisation.
