Our Client is seeking a SAP Cluster and Backup & Restore (BR) Test Lead to join their team to get invovled in general conceptual approach how the involved parties aims to perform periodic SAP Backup & Restore testing (eg test objects, test preparation, test environment, etc.) and have overview of responsibilities related to SAP infrastructure Cluster and BR tests
Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze existing information, documentation, and requirements
- Plan, manage and coordinate activities necessary to develop and compile defined deliverables
- Lead and significantly contribute to the development of defined deliverables for this work package
- Ensure necessary documentation is in place
- Coordinate the review of relevant products
- Obtain buy-in from stakeholders
- Work with quality management and acceptance board to ensure quality and acceptance criteria are met
- Ensure appropriate communication and training takes place in order to prepare organization to take over responsibility
- Propose and implement appropriate organizational changes
- Handover results and deliverables to respective organization
- Resolve issues, communicating and escalating to respective management levels as appropriate
Required skills
- Extensive experience in the area of test management (eg test approach, test process, roles, test tools)
- Deep knowledge of SAP systems and related infrastructure (eg BR infrastructure, Cluster)
- Good conceptional thinking and pragmatic ability to deliver new concepts
- Strong oral and written communication and facilitation and negotiation skills
- Ability to develop, document and communicate defined deliverables
- Ability to identify, clarify and resolve testing related issues and gaps
- Ability to lead workshops and present results to senior management
- Ability to coordinate and facilitate between involved internal and external teams
- Sound project management skills
- Ability to identify, lead, co-ordinate all contributions to fullfil testing strategy within statutory requirements
