Keeping pace with progress is one of our most important ambitions. The hydraulic development group is crucial to this. To complement our globally recognised hydraulic support team of specialists for our headquarters in Winterthur, we are looking for a qualified Project Support Engineer.
Your Job
Technical support to the sales and tender departments of our group companies in:
Selection of special pumps (outside the standard pump ranges) for Power, Water & Waste Water and Oil & Gas applications
Selection of pumps running as turbines
Analysis of pump test results and creation of documentations and data in order to select special pumps
Assistance of our group companies in the analysis of pumping systems
Maintenance and development of calculation tools for hydraulic design and tendering tools
Your Profile
You have completed tertiary studies in mechanical engineering or physics. If you have experience in hydraulic turbomachinery or pump selection this would be an advantage but is not mandatory. Moreover, you have good knowledge's in Excel and in computer languages (C, Fortran, VBasic). This is a challenging position, which demands a high degree of technical flair and innovative ability. Your ability to work in a team, in international group projects under pressure and a good knowledge of technical English complete your profile.
