Java Developer - Our client, a major Financial Services company, is currently looking for an experienced Java Developer with strong knowledge of Java EE 6, Hibernate, JavaScript and Oracle 11g. As a Java Developer you will be working in an international staffed team of business analysts and application engineers on the functional extension and maintenance of a strategic application.
Main tasks and activities
- Design and implement the DB for a application
- Build the architecture and develop the server component using a Java rule engine
- Shape a Web Front End optimized for the client
To be considered for this role you must have the following skills/experience:
- Proven knowledge and experience in Java EE 6
- Good Server Side knowledge (Hibernate, JPA, EJB, MDB)
- Client side knowledge (GWT, JavaScript, HTML, Ajax, RIA)
- Database knowledge (eg Oracle 11g)
- Infrastructure knowledge (WebSphere 8, Maven 2)
- Special knowledge (experience to implement Java rule engines, SCRUM)
- Fluent in English, German as a plus
