Für einen unserer Kunden bin ich auf der Suche nach einem Project Director mit Fixed Income/Security/Bond Erfahrung.Rahmenbedingungen:
- Projektstart: Möglichst Januar 2012
- Dauer: min. 100 Tage mit starker Option auf Verlängerung
- Auslastung: 100%
- Einsatzort: Zürich
Anforderungen und Projektbeschreibung:
The initial goal will be to take the project from the launch phase to the next milestone date and thereafter, if approved, potentially to the live date. The key deliverable will be a Project Proposal which will be presented for approval to the Board of Directors. Completing this document will involve:
•Sanity checking the current Project Brief against fixed income experience;
•Attracting and building the market community;
•Gaining early financial and business commitment from partners, shareholders and users to support the case to the Board;
•Contributing to the definition of business and the market models, including the development of a compelling and financially viable business proposition for shareholders and participants. This will involve minimising the projected expenditure and the delivery risk across all workstreams (business development, legal / regulatory, IT etc).
The Project Director will be expected to:
•contribute to and execute the business strategy / the business plan and drive the project successfully through each milestone;
•organise and manage the secondary markets advisory committee with a view to consulting on the business strategy, governance and ownership and functional model;
•develop and maintain relationships with a wide range of market institutional shareholders, partners and market participants;
•make credible sales, marketing and public relations presentations;
•develop the corporate governance framework (e.g. ownership structure, liquidity agreements, fee/incentive models, financial models to encourage behavioural change);
•build and manage an organisation / team that can deliver the business plan;
•lead policy formulation and liaison with regulators and participants;
•negotiate on behalf of the founders with a wide range of financial institutions, government bodies and regulators each with different interests; motivate and manage a team of high-calibre professional resources.
The ideal candidate is well-known in the fixed-income markets and will be able to demonstrate:
•strong leadership qualities;
•knowledge of the securities industry, fixed income trading, business processes and workflows, ideally holding a senior position in a Buy-side or Sell-side firm;
•commercial awareness;
•innovative "out of the box" thinking with an ability to create change;
•a proven ability in business start-ups in financial services;
•adept marketing / presentation skills with stakeholders and the media;
•the ability to implement major change in the fixed income financial market; a solid academic / professional background in business, finance, law, accounting or IT.
