We are looking for a SAP Operations Manager in the area of Zurich:!! PERMANENT POSITION OR CONTRACTING!!
Responsibilities:
The SAP R/3 system (MM, SD, PP, FI-CO & BW) is currently being implemented. The system provides services to more than 35 countries across the world and almost 3’000 SAP users by 2013. The technical environment is currently on SAP R/3 4.7 and will be upgraded to ECC6. The system is hosted and managed by a 3rd party supplier.
Ensure operations of SAP R/3 platform:
- Single point of accountability for SAP operations, performance monitoring / incident management and escalation management
- Define and custodian of SAP agreed SLA’s
- Define service management level targets for Outsourcers
- Follow-up/monitor application support and third-party service providers
- Work closely with SAP Basis/Netweaver Administrator
- Data volume & application data archiving management (including DB trend building)
- Primary contact for activity coordination on service performance, system availability and escalation management (across IT departments or 3rd party and Key Business) for incident management, service restoration and RCA building
- KPI definition and follow-up as well as monitor Business Process (SOLMAN) and services on agreed SLA’s
- Follow-up/monitor L2 & L3 application support
- Follow-up/monitor 3rd party service providers (ESKER, PBS, etc.)
- Follow-up on performance monitoring/tuning (statistics & early watch reports, etc.) of all SAP systems in coordination with SAP Basis Administrator
- Follow-up and coordination with INFRA/SAP Basis activities impacting SLA’s (transports, backups, support packages, scheduled maintenance, etc.)
- Manage month-end freeze
- Job scheduling follow-up and performance review with SAP Basis Administrator
Skills:
- Highly skilled SAP Support or SAP Operations Manager on min. R/3 4.7 and BW 3.5 in a large SAP system landscape
- Experience in SAP implementation or template rollout projects with focus in the technical areas (Abap/DDIC Workbench, ALE/Idocs, job scheduling, system monitoring, S* transactions, etc.)
- Very good experience of SOLMAN (configuration and utilization for system/process monitoring)
- Good exposure to Logistics Business Processes (MM, SD and PP)
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Fluent in English
- Knowledge of interface/integration management tools (XI/PI…) is a plus
