UNIX Developer - Linux, Python, Perl - Banking - ZürichUnix Developer - Our client, a major Financial Services company, is currently looking for an experienced Unix Developer with a strong Banking background and a dynamic, proactive personality.
Role Description:
Implementation of software components using Unix/Linux and Scripting tools
Configuration and support of new test environments
Understanding and converting user requirements into high quality functional solutions
Support of the current application during normal working hours
Close cooperation with IT teams around the globe
Exposure to different advanced application development tools
To be considered for this role you must have the following skills/experience:
Strong knowledge of Linux and Scripting tools such as Perl or Python
3 - 5 years experience in a similar banking environment
Excellent faculty for logical reasoning
Experience in design methodologies (UML, Component Design Tools, etc.)
Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt
Strong written and oral communication skills in English
Ability to work at a fast pace in a team and adapt style to ensure the project is successful.
Ability to foster a cooperative work environment for all stakeholders.
